Day 115

I helped a neighbor out with photographing some of her paintings this morning. When I got back around noon, I got right into it with the Beast.

I knocked out some quick and easy tasks - putting up hangers and a sheet of metal which will hold the magnets currently living on the fridge in Tempe. The black hanger is on the back wall over the bed space. The metal sheet is on the closet door, and the other hanger is right inside the doorway, to the left...

For the next couple of hours, I worked on finishing up cutting, sanding, oiling and placing scrap fence boards under the cabinets over the bed. There were only a few left, and once the last board was placed, I could finally say that the back third of the trailer is DONE.

I took a short break for a late lunch, then got back to it, this time cutting more fence boards to complete the right side of the tower by the stove. I got everything done but the last row - it was getting too dark.

I lit another fire for the early evening, monitoring the burn for 90 minutes or so. Still off-gassing, but less than previously.

To be continued...
