Day 84

I visited my folks before heading up to Pine, and while there, my dad and I worked on getting my grinder/wire wheel set-up working. No problem with the grinder side, but the wire wheel needed an improvised adapter to make it work with the unit. I was finally able to use it, so in Pine, I got to work on the cabinet hardware that I'd removed weeks ago.

In addition to stripping off the white paint that the buffoon had left on the hinges, the wheel also "de-brassed" the finish...which is fine by me. Not a fan of the brass look.

Shiny happy hardware! (You're welcome for the earworm...)

Reattaching the hardware:

The "kitchen" cabinets in place, with magnetic latches reattached:

It was - as Dylan once said - gettin' dark, too dark to see, and we had dinner to make, so the work shall continue in the morning.
