Having dealt with frustrating delays, I was determined to finish up the ceiling today. Off to a good start:

Thankfully, I'm not having to fight too much with the boards when it comes to gaps and evenness.

I need to choose which stain I want from the short list of relatively non-toxic ones. Some or all of the ceiling boards may have to come down again when it comes time to stain, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
