Sooz and I got to Home Depot in Payson before they opened, in the hopes of renting a small skid loader. The two small ones they had were both rented out, but due back this morning. After breakfast, we checked back and found that one had just been returned. We also had to rent a van to haul it, because it's more weight than my Tacoma can handle.
So began the attack on the pile of rock and dirt that would eventually be used to level my trailer parking spot, as well as other parts of the property.
Once the controls were figured out, I took to it pretty quickly!
Sooz and our neighbor Rick took turns as well. We spent the rest of the day, alternating between driving the skid loader and raking/shoveling rock.
