Day 45

With hours limited by the heat, there were really only two tasks this morning: install the trim plate around the pipe, and continue adding ceiling planks. The trim went fairly easy, with the exception of the two holes that needed to be drilled through the trim itself. At some point I need to get some better bits to use for metal work.

Adding freshly-planed boards and wool insulation:

About half of the middle of the trailer is now done! I'll be curious to see if - as I add more insulation and ceiling panels - I'll notice a difference in how hot the trailer is getting inside.

It's not precision work - that would be nearly impossible with a structure as out-of-square as this trailer is. But I'm learning to embrace the imperfections of it. And I'm excited about how it's turning out.

The work continues in 4 days...
