After positioning a cut 2x3 under the stove platform, I decided that one would be enough support. Secured to the floor with an L bracket:
I pulled all of the screws from the platform and opened it up to add the Havelock wool insulation. It was pretty tightly packed in the shipping box, so it took less than I had predicted to fill the area around the wheel well.
We added a 2x4 to complete the rear shelf support post.

Brackets good to go, but we decided to finish the last two shelves tomorrow.
