Day 124

For once, I slept in...and was slow getting to the trailer this morning. I got a decent burn going in the stove, then put down the final coat of red on the cabinet doors. They just need a final coat of Black Truffle on the back, then they're ready for the hardware to be re-attached:

While I was maintaining the fire in the stove, I would spend moments up in the house, trying to figure out how to get the wi-fi extender up and running, but there were issues. I had to get Don to help me out, and even he - the tech guy - was having issues. A good share of the morning was spent on this.

I finally got around to setting up the circular saw to cut down that recent sheet of thin plywood. The crookedness of everything in the trailer meant that I had to do correction trimming while trying to install it.

By now, it was already early afternoon. I still had to pack all of my tools away in the trailer - though some of them won't be needed for much longer. After this, they can be retired to the shed until needed for random jobs. Then I had to pack the truck with everything I'm taking back down to Tempe: dirty laundry, recycling, sawhorses that I'm returning to my dad, etc.

By the end of the morning, I still had the stove running pretty hot, but it seemed that the smell might finally be diminishing. I can only hope so, because when I come back up on Wednesday, I intend to bring my bed (weather permitting). Wish me luck...
