I started cutting and placing "studs" - vertical boards on which to mount the final wall boards, which allow a gap behind for insulation. This is probably one of the only ideas the previous owner had that I'm carrying over into my design. I first did this back in April, when I was doing the wall behind the stove.
Placed another one at the window frame, then measured out the rough distance between the two for the third. Adding boards, working my way down toward the floor.
I switched over to (finally) cutting another piece of plywood to mount against the shelves by the door.
I'd been putting off removing the last of the Reflectix in the back of the trailer, so I figured now was a good time. Little did I know, the previous owner had left me another surprise.
In spite of all of the hidden damage I've found - and repaired - since the beginning of the year, I've managed to avoid the urge to really get venomous on my blog. I've been trying to keep things positive. But, seeing this finally pushed me over the line.
FUCK YOU, JACK...YOU DISHONEST ASSHOLE. I hope someone does thousands of dollars of damage to your life, you smug motherfucker.
