On my day off, I wandered into an Ace Hardware in Phoenix to try to find something I could use as a fresh air intake near the stove. All of the plumbing piping was too heavy, too small and made from toxic materials anyway, so I moved on to the dryer venting supplies. This should do the trick.
The best place to have it go through the wall was the wood panel. Fortunately, dad had an adjustable drill bit capable of cutting a 4" hole:
Nice:
I temporarily set the final wall boards in place so I we could mark and cut the whole for the tube to pass through:
Test-fitting, without the and with the end piece. I'm going to shorten the tube a bit with tin snips.
Of course I forgot to get an outside shot of the vent in place - will take one tomorrow once I seal it all up.
The scrap wood scattered about in the trailer was getting out of control, so I finally got it all in once place.
